Today With Patty 8/3/06

There was a random fly in the office today, and I was trying to get everyone to kill it. I put a bounty on its head and put out an APB! Did Kipp the dragon slayer get it? No way. Rob called 911. Ryal could not see with his Miami Vice sunglasses on. Our own 98 lb. Allison murdered it in midair in a death-defying feat by clapping her hands together. There were many witnesses to this major achievement. After the funeral service, we broke out cookies in celebration. At MMI, we celebrate everything with food.

I had lunch at Winston’s, site of my bone-crushing fall a few months ago, which reminds me to tell you about my appointment with Dr. Baylis last night and my little hip problem. Dr. Baylis had to reinsert my femur into my hip socket and I saw Jesus when she did it. But since I suffer in silence, I have not shared this with my office. However, Candy, who is quite psychic, and who knows about back pain, is starting to lob blue pills at me.
