Today With Patty 8/9/06

by Patty

I had a rough night last night with my hip. My whole body is falling apart.

Ryal and I went to see a prospective new client and had a great meeting. Mapquest was wrong and my trusty GPS actually got us there, which is a miracle. The thing only knows how to say “lost satellite recognition” and “recalculating.”

I headed to the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Small Business and Membership Services meeting. Erika Mangrum and Sepi Asefnia co-chair this committee, both of which are clients of ours. I’ve got to stop letting our clients chair committees because every time they join a committee, so do I! We are doing about 10 million things, and I did manage to snake out of having to chair anything, but I am sure that will not last long.

I am off to Women Presidents’ Organization this evening. WPO locally and internationally connects top women entrepreneurs at the million and multimillion-dollar level for greater personal and professional success, and has the greatest group of women as members.

We completed our first podcast yesterday. It is now on the web site, so make sure to check it out.

I just feel kind of boring today – there is nothing much to report.

Hip Alert: My hip hurts. My back hurts because of my hip. I was so wiped last night that I was asleep at 8:30. Ain’t old age wonderful?
