Today with Patty: Almost too Busy to Shop

I have been so busy that there has been no time to blog. Saturday, I flew to New York early, early, early, in the morning and came back late, late, late in the evening. A girlfriend and I flew up to go shopping. We went to Canal Street, H&M, Century 21 and the coolest Christmas Fair in Bryant Park. I swear we walked ten miles and I have the soreness in my hips prove to it.

It was bitterly cold, as in 30 degrees with winds. By the end of the day, I looked like a bag lady trying to stay warm. I bought this dorky headband that looked unbelievably bad with my short hair but it did keep my ears warm. My girlfriend ended up with two pairs of pants, a turtleneck, a sweater and a sweatshirt under her big parka. But my favorite part was when she bought a second pair of socks.

My biggest disappointment was that there just didn’t seem to be any great deals. I did buy some jewelry and Christmas presents for the office.

Today I’ve been in meetings the entire day with new clients. And I’m just so far behind. More to come when I catch up.
