Today with Patty: Patty is Pooped

by Patty

What a week I had last week, I’m still pooped. Friday night I did manage to make it to Flying Saucer Friday, to wish Kat Thompson a happy birthday. We were scheduled to go to some hoity toity fund raiser for the symphony but I decided to blow it off because I was just too tired. I are old.

Party Animal

Saturday night we attended the Hamner Institute’s holiday party at Brier Creek Country Club with Gloria, Ryal and Matt, along with their better halves. It was really a nice evening but again I was pooped and trying to figure out how I could sneak out of there. Then, Matt and Ryal came to say their goodnights, and I thought, whoo-hoo, this old broad outlasted the kiddies. But instead I find out they’re going on to another party at Jill’s. Who goes to a party at 10:30 at night? Not this old woman.

R&R for a Good Cause

Yesterday I went to Iatria for a wonderful massage all in the name of charity. The folks at Iatria donated their services for the Me Fine foundation. Jill is on their board and I know almost everyone else on the board so of course I had to go and support this worthy cause. John didn’t’ buy that explanation either!
