Boy am I having a hard time getting back into the swing of blogging everyday. It is also hard to find a topic other than payroll to rant and rave about-since this subject sucks up all of my time.
Raving About Politics
Last night I was at a small, informal get-together of community leaders to meet and learn more about Janet Cowell, who is running for State Treasurer. Those of you who know me understand that I am a rabid and raging Republican who for some reason has been supporting Democrats of late. That is what is wrong with being a Republican, you are so independent, that you do not let anyone tell you what to do or how to think. So here I find myself supporting Lt. Gov. Bev Purdue who I think will be an outstanding governor and will provide that leadership that we need in this state, along with Secretary of State, Elaine Marshall, who I greatly respect.
One Question
Luckily I still can not stand Hillary Clinton so I realize that all is right in the world. I do have one question for Hillary; it is my understanding that your only elected position is your current position as senator for New York; yet you continually tout your “experience”, what exactly is this experience that you’ve gained as first lady of Arkansas/United States and as the failed head of the Health Care Initiative during your husband’s administration? Please, I do not want to get a bunch of rude comments on the blog from all the Hillary lovers.
The David’s
This morning we went to the new offices of VisionPoint for our quarterly meeting regarding our Web site. We typically meet with two of the “brains” at VisionPoint both called David-hence the name “The David’s”. Every time I leave there I stand in awe of these two guys, I have shoes older than they are, and they have forgotten more about the internet than I will ever know. Luckily they are on our side.
