Today With Patty: Sports or Sleep?

by Patty

I went to the NC State vs. Florida State basketball game last night at the RBC Center. I arrived late and left early. I think I have been partying just too much lately and I have been out every night for weeks and weeks. I was meeting several clients in the box and once I realized that they actually (gasp!) wanted to watch the game and not eat and drink with me; I decided that my presence was not needed. I went home and went to bed. I do not even know who won.

Carb Relapse

I completely fell off the no-carb band wagon today and ate not one, not two, but three cookies when I was at The Hamner along with two pieces of bread. I’m driving the bus to carb hell.

Tonight I am off to the Savvy Women’s Conference cocktail party and I am hoping that there will be some no-carb choices. Then I have to pack as I am headed back to Orlando tomorrow for the Enterprising Women Awards. I am going to meet up with a bunch of friends and I am looking forward to it. Diane Keuhn of VisionPoint is rooming with me and I am sure she will be surprised to learn that I snore.
