Today With Patty: Theatre and Basketball

by Patty

Last night, I went to the NC Theatre production of Irving Berlin’s Annie Get Your Gun. It was wonderful. I am kind of a Broadway show aficionado, as my husband and I love musicals and have been season ticket holders for years at various venues. I have to say, NC Theatre is consistently one of the best venues for a great show and Annie Get Your Gun was no exception. The actress playing Annie Oakley, Lauren Kennedy, was made for the role and the show in its entirety was excellent. All in all, it was truly a great evening.

Box Snob
Tonight, we are headed to the RBC Center to see NC State play Florida State and I believe the sport at hand is basketball. As you know, I am a RBC Center snob and will only attend if I am in a box. We worked out a deal for part of a box this year, so I am boning up on all the various sports. I’ll let you know how it goes tomorrow.
