Today Without Patty – Jan. 12, 2007

It has been another manic Friday for Patty, either having meetings or driving to Durham get her new car (a Mercedes – way to go, Patty!). Meanwhile, there has been plenty happening here today, including a visit from a friend in the media who thoughtfully provided us with some Bruegger’s Bagels this morning. We thank this person, who prefers to remain anonymous but deserves to be recognized publicly for this act of generosity.

If that was not enough, Gloria brought a bucket of KFC chicken for lunch while she came to meet with Patty. Two acts of generosity with food in one day – we must be doing something right around here.

Our intern Kristi, who attends N.C. State University, came by with a surprise this afternoon that she and her roommate made for us. We are thinking about selling it on ebay, and if that happens, we will let you know you exactly what the item is and how you can bid on it.

We are having several new interns begin work here next week, and we will be open for business Monday on the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday as well. Contact us if you need us then, but do not tell us you have the day off, unless you want to hear a chorus of envious boos tossed your way.
