Our leader has found herself busy and out of the office today, having only brief bits of time between meetings to call us and check on messages, as well as update us on how frantic she is and how she is dealing with unexpected storms today in her travels. So in her absence, we are offering this as today’s blog.
Patty is not the only one not at her desk today – our beloved new staff member Matt Vaughan is out sick with a nasty ear infection. We miss him and hope he is doing well in recovering from this condition. Luckily our other newbie, Susan Emery, is doing fine holding down the fort in Patty’s absence.
Between the icky humidity and the overcast skies at the office – with occasional rumbles of thunder but so far no rain – it has been a pretty uninspiring setting to do work today. Thankfully Kristi did her part in performing an act of mercy by going on a run for Red Bull and York Peppermint Patties to perk up everyone. Yeah, if you want to get attention around here, food remains the best way to score with us.
Apart from those events, there is not really too much exciting to report – we have just been concentrating on doing our regular work for clients and other contacts. Hopefully Patty will be back in this spot tomorrow to provide something more than what we have for you now, and will not be too tired from her meetings today that she will not be able to share it with us all.
