For those of you who have been reading her recent blogs, it should come as no surprise to you that Patty is feeling too sick today to write her blog, so we are going with a Today Without Patty one instead. Patty is not the only one here not doing well – Jill remains at home recuperating from her recent surgery, although she may be able to come to the office later this week and work a few hours. We will make sure not to wear her out, because we want her back here at full strength in a few weeks.
In other events here at MMI, Kipp is getting ready for his big wedding that will occur just two weekends from now. He will be on his honeymoon for a week after that, which has Patty worried about how we will keep the office going in his absence, since she relies on Kipp to serve as her memory at work. (She also makes fun of his technological bent at work a lot too, as you can tell by reading her blogs, but it is always in good humor.)
We also are looking forward to the NIT and NCAA tournaments for basketball, since we have N.C. State and UNC fans here at the office (and Michigan State too, if your name is Ryal Curtis – sorry, Duke faithful, but we have no one pulling for your side). Of course, being the dedicated employees that we are, we will not be spending any company time watching the games themselves. But if you should happen to be doing so and want to pass the information along to us while we work, well, we would have no objections to you doing that!
As for the weather, it remains gorgeous here at the office, sunny and warm in the upper 70s. It is supposed to be even warmer tomorrow, in the 80s, before a rainstorm will arrive by Thursday night and knock our highs back down to the 50s. In other words, it is typical wacky March weather for us right now.

MMI Associates was contracted to handle media relations and to organize various efforts to open the communication lines between the construction entities on the project and motorists. The firm developed a strategic public relations campaign to ensure that local motorists and those passing through would be aware of the most up-to-date traffic patterns.
