Today Without Patty: Charlotte Bound

Patty is in Charlotte today learning about their new transit system. Throughout the day she will learn about Charlotte’s strategic vision for the transit system, how Charlotte received two-thirds support for retaining their dedicated transit funding, how people get around the city via Charlotte’s downtown circulator and trolley and the impact the Lynx rail line has had on land use and economic development.

Thank you to the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau for arranging the opportunity to discover what a transit system can do for a large city.
