Patty is away on business in sunny Orlando, avoiding the chilly rain that has plagued the Triangle. The flu has begun to sweep through the office, reflective of the increasing trend in the local area. The less sickly MMI employees are looking forward to the quickly approaching weekend with a variety of plans.
Tonight, Matt, Kate, Katie and Michelle are all attending the Kid Rock Concert at the RBC Center. The show, part of the Rock N Roll Revival Tour, will also feature the legendary Reverend Run and Dickey Betts. Kid Rock is set to play his chart-topper “Rock N Roll Jesus” which the MMI crew will be watching from box seats. These most exclusive tickets will allow them access to the Johnson Lexus Champions Club. What this entails, we are unsure, but stories about this privilege will definitely circulate the office on Monday.
Ryal is still sick, although he is here in the office today, and he plans to stay home for the weekend and recuperate. Despite Matt’s persistent Lysol spraying, Ryal’s sickness has spread to Jill and she is home today with the flu. I am pretty positive she will remain housebound for the weekend to try and fight this icky illness.
On a less disheartening note, Jen is moving into a new apartment! She will be moving into her new dwelling with a good friend, out on Creedmoor road. This move will bring her closer to Kate and Kate Davis, which will make for some possible carpooling. Here at MMI we’re taking steps to be more green. In addition, we are also decreasing water usage and are in the works of fronting a water conservation plan. Go Team Green!
Tell us: How are you being “green?” What are your plans this weekend?

MMI Associates was contracted to handle media relations and to organize various efforts to open the communication lines between the construction entities on the project and motorists. The firm developed a strategic public relations campaign to ensure that local motorists and those passing through would be aware of the most up-to-date traffic patterns.
