Today Without Patty: Manic Monday

by Patty

Patty is out of the office all day again today and the rest of the office is adjusting to our new layout – and a very manic Monday.

Our phone system has been down all day, sending people into a frenzy here at MMI. Everyone has had to keep their cell phones close to their sides for any contact with the outside world. We blame it on the brutal wind storm that attacked Raleigh yesterday, nearly knocking all of us over. Thankfully, the Internet was spared, or we really would have had a panic on our hands.

Black Magic

Kate and Matt left us early today to go to the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival for the premiere of “Black Magic”, a story of the injustice that defines the Civil Rights Movement in America, told through the lives of basketball players and coaches who attended historically black colleges and universities. They get to meet and mingle with some basketball greats – we are all very jealous.

Patty will be back later this week to tell you all about her new workout regime with The Body Mechanic, so stay tuned.
