Transformed!

by Tia

I’m not usually an action movie person but I have to take a moment and rave about the new movie Transformers starring Shia LeBeouf. I spent the first half of my Fourth of July holiday at the theater. My roommate was going with her uncle, who assuming that I would like to tag along, bought an extra ticket for me. Well those close to me know that I like to keep confusion and confrontation to a minimum so I smiled, dressed and reluctantly tagged along. Soon after propping my feet up, (yes, I’m that girl with her feet beside your head at the movies!) and preparing for my two-hour nap in the freezing theater, I realized that the movie, believe it or not, was actually holding my attention! I don’t claim to be a critic but I give this movie two thumbs up! It was filled with all of the elements of a great movie in my book: humor, action and romance. Walking out of the theater, the cutest little boy turns to his parents and with a big grin says, “That’s the best movie I’ve seen in my entire life!!” Now if this testimony from my small friend, who I’m sure has had a long and full life, doesn’t do it for you, then take it from me that this movie is a must-see!!
