RALEIGH, N.C. – Dr. Robert Littlejohn, head of school at Trinity Academy of Raleigh, a K-12 college preparatory school community located in North Raleigh, has announced that the academy has hired Beth McCauley as head of lower school. In this position, McCauley will manage the K-6 teachers and staff, establish and facilitate procedures and guidelines, collaborate with the head of school on instructional and curricular decisions, and assist with behavioral management strategies.
McCauley joins Trinity Academy of Raleigh with more than 25 years of experience in education. She spent the previous seven serving as director of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool in Raleigh. McCauley earned a master’s in school administration from N.C. State University. She is a member of the North Carolina Association for Educators (NCAE) and the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association (ELEA). McCauley maintains a N.C. school principal license as well as a N.C. teacher certification in K-12 special education. A native of Chapel Hill, N.C., she resides in Raleigh with her husband, John, daughter, Ashley, and son, Connor.
