GREENVILLE, N.C. – Juan Pablo Giometti, publisher of Viva Greenville, has announced the launch of Viva Greenville. The publication is the first community Hispanic newspaper in East North Carolina, and will be distributed in more than 100 locations in Pitt County, as well as the neighboring counties of Beafourt, Greene, Wilson and Lenoir. The publication will provide a resource to individuals, families, and organizations to meet crucial needs, such as local news and events, along with information about healthcare, education and social activities in Spanish. The first newspaper was released on Oct. 7 and will be followed by issues the first week of every month.
“We are proud to bring this publication to the people of East Carolina,” said Giometti. “It will be the first newspaper in the area to serve the local interests of the Hispanic community.”
