Wake Technical Community College Sponsors Business Champions Awards

RALEIGH, N.C. – Dr. Stephen Scott, president of Wake Technical Community College, has announced that the college will sponsor the first annual Business Champions Awards presented by Business Leader magazine. The awards will pay tribute to local organizations for their contributions to the Triangle workforce through extensive training programs, job creation and revenue growth. The Business Champions Awards will honor 24 businesses in four categories, including: healthcare, business/technology, computer/engineering and applied technologies/trade industries. Winners will be recognized at an awards luncheon on Tuesday, March 27 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Cary and profiled in the Business Leader special Business Champions publication in May.
