Walter Daniels Elected President Of South Durham Little League

RTP, N.C. – Walter E. Daniels, principal at Daniels Daniels & Verdonik, P.A. has been elected president of the South Durham Little League which serves the Southern Durham and Chapel Hill areas.  In this position, he will lead the league and support their mission of teaching young players the skills necessary to excel as a baseball player, as well as teaching them the attributes of good sportsmanship, responsibility, the discipline of teamwork and the importance of fair play.

“I am honored to serve as president of the Little League,” said Daniels.  “The league is important to the community and makes a positive impact on our youth.”

focuses his practice on the corporate, financial and intellectual property needs of technology-based companies, including such matters as corporate finance, venture capital, and transactions involving technology.  Daniels attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead Scholar, graduating as a member of Phi Beta Kappa and with honors.  He earned his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a M.A. in Public Policy Sciences from Duke University.  Daniels currently serves as a Director of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) and as a member of the Advisory Board of the North Carolina Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC).  He has received a number of awards and honors, including being selected as the recipient of the “NCEITA 21" Legal-Financial Award and as the  “Service Provider of the Year” by the CED.
