CARY, N.C. – Monica Smiley, president of Enterprising Women magazine, has announced that Women Presidents’ Organization and Springboard Enterprises will host a Private Equity Breakfast Workshop for women entrepreneurs at the 2006 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards Celebration will be held at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. on Feb. 24-25, 2006. The breakfast will take place on Feb. 24 at 8 a.m. at the Grand Floridian conference center. The two-day tribute is designed to honor women entrepreneurs who are recipients of the 2006 Enterprising Women of the Year Award. Enterprising Women will induct four women into the Enterprising Women Hall of Fame and present two Advocacy Awards to leaders of organizations that work in the interest of supporting women’s entrepreneurship. The Walt Disney World Company is the premiere event sponsor, with UPS serving as a platinum event sponsor.
“Women in business around the country are looking forward to the 2006 Awards Celebration where we can interact with one another and honor our nation’s finest women entrepreneurs,” said Smiley. “The award recipients are influential, powerful women in business who impact our communities through their leadership and remarkable accomplishments.”
