NEW YORK – Marsha Firestone, president of the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), and Barbara Roberts, president of Roberts & Company and Long Island chapter facilitator, hosted an expansion event on November 30, at the Maine Maid Inn on Long Island.
Helene Fortunoff, who serves on the WPO advisory group, was the featured speaker. The program was held to provide existing and potential members an update on the organization. Women presidents representing a diverse range of industries, from manufacturing to marketing, engaged in dialogue throughout the evening.
“WPO is excited about the Long Island Chapter growth,” said Firestone. “Chapter meetings offer a substantive forum for women business owners to meet, interact and discuss relevant issues, providing them the opportunity to learn from the experiences of their peers.”
About Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO):

The Women Presidents’ Organization is unique in that it connects top women entrepreneurs locally –and internationally – with greater personal and professional success. WPO member businesses have an average of $12 million in annual revenues, 113 employees and 18 years in business.
