TAMPA BAY, FLA. – The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) Tampa Bay Chapter showed their appreciation for the troops currently deployed in Iraq by sending a special Valentine’s Day shipment to the 66th Transportation Company of the United States Army. The shipment included a total of 15 boxes weighing over 420 pounds, full of items such as sweatshirts, jackets, sheets, blankets, Valentine goody bags to take their minds off of the winter weather conditions. Sgt. Whitney Shaw distributed these items to her fellow soldiers, and thanked all of the WPO members for their contribution on behalf of the entire 66th Transportation Company.

“It is inspiring when local WPO chapters take an active role in showing support for such an important issue,” said Marsha Firestone, president of the WPO.
